GMT94 Yamaha Supported WorldSSP rider, Jules Cluzel, heads into Round 2 of the FIM Supersport World Championship in Thailand determined to add a race win to his second place in the opening round in Australia. Evan Bros. Bardahl Yamaha Supported WorldSSP rider Randy Krummenacher, the race winner in Phillip Island two weeks ago and the winner in Thailand last year, is equally determined to add another 25 points to his championship tally this weekend at the Chang International circuit. But it won’t just be these two protagonists hunting the win in Thailand. Krummenacher’s  Evan Bros. Bardahl Yamaha teammate, Federico Caricasulo, also heads into the weekend in a confident mood, having secured pole position in qualifying and then the final place on the podium in the Phillip Island race, despite losing time during the mandatory pit stop. Like Krummenacher and Cluzel, Caricasulo is a former race winner in Thailand.

GMT94 Yamaha’s Corentin Perolari and the Kallio Racing Yamaha Supported WorldSSP pairing of Thomas Gradinger and Loris Cresson enjoyed a solid start to the season in Australia, with all three finishing inside the top ten, a feat they are keen to repeat this weekend in Thailand.

Isaac Viñales endured a difficult WorldSSP debut in Australia, with the Kallio Racing Yamaha rider forced to retire due to a technical issue with just three laps of the race remaining. The Spaniard heads into this weekend determined to make amends at the Chang International Circuit, a track he has raced at previously aboard a Moto2 machine.
